Alex Hales became only the third batsman to surpass 14,000 runs in T20 cricket, joining the elite company of Chris Gayle and Kieron Pollard. He achieved this feat with a half-century against Guyana Amazon Warriors in the 17th match of the tournament.
The right-handed batsman scored 74 runs off 43 balls, steering the Knight Riders to a six-wicket victory. With this achievement, Hales now stands as the second-highest run-scorer in T20 cricket, just behind Chris Gayle.
