Five male and two female cricketers have been inducted into the ICC Hall of Fame Class of 2025. The International Cricket Council (ICC) has announced the names of seven cricketers who have been added to the ICC Hall of Fame this year. The 2025 class includes five male and two female players.
Established in 2009, the ICC Hall of Fame honors the outstanding achievements of cricketing legends. Each year, new inductees are selected and formally recognized during official ceremonies, where they are presented with the ICC Cricket Hall of Fame cap.
This year’s male inductees include two from South Africa, and one each from Australia, New Zealand, and India. The two female added to the list represent Pakistan and England.
Who are the seven cricketers inducted into the ICC Hall of Fame in 2025?
In 2025, seven cricketers were inducted into the ICC Hall of Fame. Among them is former Indian captain MS Dhoni, who became the ninth Indian male cricketer to receive this honor. He was joined by former Australian opener Matthew Hayden and former New Zealand spinner Daniel Vettori.
From South Africa, legendary opener Hashim Amla and former captain Graeme Smith were also inducted into the prestigious list.
In the women’s category, former Pakistan cricketer Sana Mir and former England wicketkeeper-batter Sarah Taylor were recognized by the ICC for their contributions to the game.
