Virat Kohli recently completed his mandatory fitness test in London, instead of going to the BCCI Centre of Excellence in Bengaluru where other Indian cricketers took their tests.

The move created a buzz and curiosity among fans and cricket pundits. Kohli’s close friend and Indian football legend Sunil Chhetri revealed that Kohli even shared some of his fitness test scores with him which was quite inspiring.

“A few days ago, he (Kohli) was sending me the scores of one of his tests. It’s very entertaining and it feels great to know people like this,” Chhetri said on the Desi Premier League podcast.
“On your bad days, when you feel a bit sluggish, you look at them and you get the motivation to do something. When you are at the top, everyone wants to be a Virat Kohli or Ronaldo, and it is unbelievable that these two have maintained their place.”
“I don’t know Ronaldo personally. I have seen him, studied him. I know Virat. One similarity between both of them is that they are not happy with their achievements so far. That is what I tried to inculcate in me in my own way because once you get into that zone where you start thinking about what you have done, good or bad, you are not on the path where you want to be,” Chhetri said.
Both Chhetri and Kohli have often shared their views on fitness, diet and sporting discipline, and have reflected their passion to maintain top performance for as long as possible. Kohli’s commitment reflects the mindset of getting up every day and giving his best, a quality that Chhetri admires immensely.
