Bangladesh Cricket Players Salary
The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) is the governing body for the Bangladesh national cricket team, often referred to as the “Tigers.” As we explore the salaries of Bangladesh cricketers, it’s worth noting that, unlike many other boards that reduced player wages during the Covid-19 pandemic, the BCB has opted to increase their players’ salaries for the upcoming season.
A member of the International Cricket Council (ICC), the Bangladesh team competes in all formats of the game—Test, ODI, and T20I. While Indian cricketers often dominate the conversation when it comes to glamour and wealth in the cricketing world, largely due to the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) being the richest cricket board globally, the BCB continues to support and invest in its players.

Retired Bangladesh Cricket Players Salary
Bangladesh has emerged as a strong force in international cricket, gaining respect from many of the world’s top teams. Known as the “Tigers,” their performances in recent years have earned widespread recognition.
However, the salary structure for Bangladeshi cricketers was previously lower compared to other countries, leading some players to demand higher pay. In response, the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) acknowledged these concerns and revised the salary structure. Currently, players in the A+ category earn a maximum of four lakh taka, while those in the D category receive a minimum of one lakh taka.
