The ODI series kicks off on September 2 at Headingley, Leeds. The action then moves to Lord’s, London on September 4, before wrapping up at The Rose Bowl, Southampton on September 7.
The T20I leg begins on September 10 at Sophia Gardens, Cardiff. The second match will be played at Old Trafford, Manchester on September 12, with the final showdown scheduled for September 14 at Trent Bridge, Nottingham.
Harry Brook, appointed as England’s white-ball captain earlier in April, will lead the side against South Africa. The hosts have announced a 15-member squad for the ODI series and a 16-member squad for the T20Is.
Hampshire pacer Sonny Baker, known for consistently clocking 90 mph, has earned his maiden ODI call-up. The youngster impressed with standout performances for England Lions on their 2024–25 tour of Australia, where he picked up figures of 4/43, 1/28, and 3/60 across three outings.
Rehan Ahmed has also been included in both squads. Harry Brook, The all-rounder was rewarded for his domestic exploits with bat and ball. His last international appearance came in October 2024 during England’s Test series in Pakistan.
Meanwhile, South Africa are currently on a white-ball tour of Australia, featuring three ODIs and three T20Is. That campaign will wrap up on August 24.
