Australia is set to play five T20 Internationals against the West Indies in July 2025. On Wednesday, June 4, Australia announced their squad for the upcoming T20I series against the West Indies. The two teams will face off in five T20Is next month as part of Australia’s 2025 tour of the West Indies. The T20I series will follow a three-match Test series between the two sides.
Mitchell Owen has received his first national call-up to the T20I squad after an impressive batting performance in the 2024-25 Big Bash League. Meanwhile, opener Jake Fraser-McGurk has been dropped from the squad due to a string of poor performances.
Josh Hazlewood will feature in the bowling lineup, while Pat Cummins and Mitchell Starc have been rested for the T20I series. Cooper Connolly and Glenn Maxwell have been retained in the squad. Left-arm spinner Matthew Kuhnemann is set to make his T20I debut, with experienced spinner Adam Zampa leading the spin department.

Australia has revealed its squad for the upcoming T20 series against the West Indies, with Mitchell Marsh set to captain the side during the away tour. Notably, all-rounder Marcus Stoinis has been left out of the squad.

The five-match T20I series will kick off on July 19 with the first game at Sabina Park, Jamaica, followed by the second match at the same venue on July 22. The remaining three games will be held at Warner Park, St Kitts, on July 24, 25, and 27.
While the West Indies are currently engaged in a white-ball series against England, Australia is gearing up for the ICC World Test Championship (WTC) 2023-25 final against South Africa.
