Yashasvi Jaiswal, who had applied for a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA) in April to join the Goa cricket team, has now requested to withdraw that application. The promising young batter has asked the MCA to allow him to continue representing Mumbai in domestic cricket.
Yashasvi Jaiswal initial decision to seek an NOC and shift to Goa created a stir in the cricketing community. At the time, he cited the opportunity for a leadership role in Goa as a significant factor influencing his decision. He also expressed a strong desire to contribute to Goa’s success in domestic tournaments whenever he was not on national duty.
“Goa has thrown me a new opportunity, and it has offered me a leadership role. My first goal will be to do well for India, and whenever I’m not on national duty, I will be playing for Goa and try to make them go deep into the tournament. This was an (important) opportunity which came my way, and I just took it,” Jaiswal had stated.
Yashasvi Jaiswal , who made his First-Class debut for Mumbai and later earned a spot in the Indian team, now appears keen to continue his journey with the domestic giants. His decision to revoke the NOC application highlights his commitment to Mumbai cricket.
