Nishan Peiris, born on August 11, 1997, in Negombo, is a promising Sri Lankan off-spinner. He made his First-Class debut for Badureliya Sports Club against SLPACC in February 2016. Nishan’s List A debut came in March 2017 for Colombo against Gampaha, followed by his first T20 appearance against Ragama in February 2018.

In his First-Class career, Peiris has taken 172 wickets in 41 matches, with an impressive average of 24.37. He has also claimed 86 wickets in 61 List A matches and 43 wickets in 39 T20 matches to date.

Nishan has represented the Sri Lanka Emerging Team, Sri Lanka A, and the Sri Lanka Under-19 team, but is yet to make his international debut.
